In the 6th minute, Jan-Ove Lindmark got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 7th minute, Cao Ting Ting reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gilbert Västberg. The goal made the score 1-0. Segmon IF's Gilbert Västberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tommy Asserlindh in the 12th minute of play. Gilbert Västberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tommy Asserlindh in the 20th minute of the match. Gilbert Västberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tommy Asserlindh, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Axel Martinsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henry Lilja, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Sundens BK booed when Segmon IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ture Elg didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 42nd minute, Tommy Asserlindh got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jan-Ove Lindmark fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilbert Västberg having to interfere. Gilbert Västberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tommy Asserlindh in the 45th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Segmon IF's Dag Asserlind got a free kick in the 46th minute. 47 minutes into the match, Segmon IF's goal looked a bit too open when Jan-Ove Lindmark came free, but Gilbert Västberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fredrik Örtlund to strike the kick off in the second half. Sundens BK's Axel Martinsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Sundens BK from getting a goal against them. Gilbert Västberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tommy Asserlindh, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Tommy Asserlindh came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Sundens BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tommy Asserlindh couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Sundens BK's Alvar Söderman got a free kick in the 64th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tommy Asserlindh in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gilbert Västberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Tommy Asserlindh managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sundens BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Tommy Asserlindh was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gilbert Västberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 75th minute, Segmon IF's Dag Asserlind seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Dag Asserlind the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Segmon IF protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Dag Asserlind had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 74 minutes into the game, one of Segmon IF:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 82nd minute of the match Albert Gernberg shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gilbert Västberg showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Sundens BK's Tommy Asserlindh in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Segmon IF's goalie prevented a goal. Bernt Henriksson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Axel Martinsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The tension between the Sundens BK and the Segmon IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sundens BK were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Segmon IF for a fine match.
