When the match clock showed 15 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Walery Absolwent sped through Astral Roots Gdynia's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Barnaba Cieliczka. 18 minutes into the game, Kacper Zbydniowski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Pocho Citko was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 22 minutes into the game, Kacper Zbydniowski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Astral Roots Gdynia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rega Merida CF the free kick. Kacper Zbydniowski hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Pocho Citko didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 26th minute, which inside left pole to 2-1. After 29 played minutes Astral Roots Gdynia got a freekick which was hit by Sylwester Hajduk. Barnaba Cieliczka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Walery Absolwent, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Pocho Citko made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kacper Zbydniowski in the 37th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walery Absolwent in the 40th minute of play forced Astral Roots Gdynia's goalkeeper Barnaba Cieliczka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Rega Merida CF booed when Astral Roots Gdynia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sylwester Hajduk didn't get a good kick on the ball. 42 minutes into the match, Astral Roots Gdynia's goal looked a bit too open when Ziemowit Zyskowski came free, but Barnaba Cieliczka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Barnaba Cieliczka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Walery Absolwent, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46th minute, Ziemowit Zyskowski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rega Merida CF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When Rega Merida CF's Ziemowit Zyskowski in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Ziemowit Zyskowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Barnaba Cieliczka having to interfere. Barnaba Cieliczka was a little too slow when Walery Absolwent got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 71st minute. The score was now 2-4. Rega Merida CF made a substitution. Kingsley Coman replaced Lucjan Mios. Rega Merida CF made a substitution. Timo Werner replaced Walery Absolwent. Timo Werner succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-5 in the 76th playminute. After a rather tough play, Astral Roots Gdynia's Franciszek Poling got a free kick in the 80th minute. With his leg Barnaba Cieliczka managed to avoid a goal in the 82ndth minute, when Rega Merida CF's Timo Werner fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 2-6 became the score in the 83rd minute when Kajetan Paciuszko elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Barnaba Cieliczka stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kajetan Paciuszko's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. In the 91st minute, Rega Merida CF's Kajetan Paciuszko ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Barnaba Cieliczka. Barnaba Cieliczka yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-7. With his leg Barnaba Cieliczka managed to avoid a goal in the 95thth minute, when Rega Merida CF's Timo Werner fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Rega Merida CF had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
