In the 25thth minute of the game Pedro Toledo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zandarin FC's Rogério Paraense was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alberto Prado hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Mané Pinho didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Christiano Chaves went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 36th minute Betão Tinoco suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. After 36 minutes, Célio Leme mouthed his way into the referee's book. André Luís Seco hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. In the 41st match minute, Zandarin FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Luís Seco to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Marzagão booed when Zandarin FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diogo Luz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 45 played minutes Zandarin FC got a freekick which was hit by André Luís Seco. César Rosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Rogério Paraense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Christiano Chaves made a kick off. Marzagão's Mané Pinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christiano Chaves in the 67th minute of play. Válbson Fernandes hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. 75 minutes into the match, Zandarin FC's Célio Leme sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mané Pinho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pedro Toledo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Rogério Paraense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Célio Leme came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Zandarin FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Célio Leme couldn't finish the play. Célio Leme recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Zandarin FC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Zézinho de Almeida hit a great ball. Pedro Toledo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Rogério Paraense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Christiano Chaves struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Mané Pinho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zandarin FC. When Célio Leme came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Zandarin FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Célio Leme couldn't finish the play.
