Astor Efren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julius-Lasse Eichenauer in the 12th minute of play. Rio Uchiha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Christoph Jurk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gwidon Michalski, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Astor Efren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thomas Schmuck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Poli Timisoara's Patrik Andres got a free kick in the 26th minute. 35 minutes into the match, Poli Timisoara's goal looked a bit too open when Gwidon Michalski came free, but Christoph Jurk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Yupandú FC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Miguel Rivas hit a great ball. In the 40th minute, Rio Uchiha left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Yupandú FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Yupandú FC's Astor Efren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thomas Schmuck in the 44th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Gwidon Michalski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Christoph Jurk was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Thomas Schmuck to strike the kick off in the second half. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 60th minute Yupandú FC were awarded a corner. Eloy Betadur went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to Yupandú FC's Gwidon Michalski getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Julius-Lasse Eichenauer hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Uwe Kuinke hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Yupandú FC's Shane Milligan was substituted for Gwidon Michalski. A collision led to Poli Timisoara getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Uwe Kuinke hit a great ball. Eloy Betadur struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Christoph Jurk was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nicanor Aragones fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christoph Jurk having to interfere. Christoph Jurk came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Yupandú FC's Rio Uchiha. But to his dismay, Rio Uchiha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. In the 86th minute, Nemesio Cordaryal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 92 minutes into the match, Poli Timisoara's goal looked a bit too open when Shane Milligan came free, but Christoph Jurk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Christoph Jurk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Shane Milligan, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. After some careless play in the Poli Timisoara defense, Shane Milligan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Christoph Jurk. The Poli Timisoara fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Christoph Jurk should have stopped the shot.
