In the 14th minute, Per-Olof Brodin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Honorio Telesforo made the kick off in the second half. If Honorio Telesforo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Luiz Fernando Mesquita came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Cachiyuyo EAS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luiz Fernando Mesquita couldn't finish the play. After 57 played minutes Cachiyuyo EAS got a freekick which was hit by Henry Silva. Honorio Telesforo struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Anders Dahlberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cachiyuyo EAS. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Börje Blom during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Cachiyuyo EAS booed when AC Zoégas™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Börje Blom didn't get a good kick on the ball. 64 minutes into the match, AC Zoégas™'s goalkeeper Anders Dahlberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luiz Fernando Mesquita. In the 65th minute of the match Cachiyuyo EAS got a corner. AC Zoégas™'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fernan Henric ran over to the corner to take the kick. Honorio Telesforo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per-Olof Brodin in the 71st minute of play forced Cachiyuyo EAS's goalkeeper Arnulfo Nataniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Luiz Fernando Mesquita fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cachiyuyo EAS's protests and gave Luiz Fernando Mesquita a yellow card for diving instead. Luiz Fernando Mesquita kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Anders Dahlberg made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Honorio Telesforo sent off a good shot on target. Honorio Telesforo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Honorio Telesforo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anders Dahlberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Honorio Telesforo in the 88th minute of play forced AC Zoégas™'s goalkeeper Anders Dahlberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Despite being the better team, Cachiyuyo EAS failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
