A collision led to 2kC Poznań getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Tymoteusz Harendarski hit a great ball. If José Maria Couto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Juvenal Valladares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tymoteusz Harendarski in the 21st minute of play. 2kC Poznań were awarded a corner in the 23th minute after Chester Bennington's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Franciszek Kostrzewa took the corner. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tymoteusz Harendarski in the 26th minute of play forced Chester Bennington's goalkeeper Juvenal Valladares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute Lucjan Sokol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juvenal Valladares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 2kC Poznań's attack was well implemented in the 30th minute, but when Lucjan Sokol was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Juvenal Valladares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tymoteusz Harendarski, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Juvenal Valladares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Franciszek Kostrzewa in the 34th minute of the match. Chester Bennington's Juvenal Valladares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tymoteusz Harendarski in the 35th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Maria Couto in the 40th minute of play forced 2kC Poznań's goalkeeper Eugeniusz Wachna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 42 minutes into the game, Lucjan Sokol cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Juvenal Valladares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 46 minutes into the game, 2kC Poznań's Lucjan Sokol nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Juvenal Valladares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Patrick Garcia to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Chester Bennington was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nestor Vinhas to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Lucjan Sokol took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Juvenal Valladares to make any attempt to save it. Chester Bennington's Juvenal Valladares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Chester Bennington from getting a goal against them. In the 78th minute, Radoslaw Banach got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lucjan Sokol could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Juvenal Valladares made a huge save. In the 96thth minute of the game Lucjan Sokol who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chester Bennington's Juvenal Valladares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The 2kC Poznań supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing 2kC Poznań would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
