In the 19th match minute, Quebra Ossos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dário Sabóia to maneuver through the defense. Richard Breckenfeld made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiburcio Tello in the 21st minute of play. Reginaldo Trigo charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Reginaldo Trigo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gugu Saldanha got free with Arnulfo Benvido in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Sílvio Corrêa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 35th minute, Arnulfo Procopio made a precise shot to the right of Richard Breckenfeld. Quebra Ossos FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Richard Breckenfeld made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiburcio Tello in the 43rd minute of play. Tiburcio Tello scored 0-4 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Richard Breckenfeld, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Quebra Ossos FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Chimborazo A.F.C were winning 0-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arnulfo Procopio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Zeledon Behe made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 53rdth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Richard Breckenfeld would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aurelio Bermudo during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 57 played minutes Chimborazo A.F.C got a freekick which was hit by Aurelio Bermudo. Quebra Ossos FC's Reginaldo Trigo got his second yellow card of the match in the 61st minute. The referee ordered Reginaldo Trigo off the ground. Quebra Ossos FC's Richard Breckenfeld played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vladimiro Chuse in the 66th minute of play. After 67 played minutes Quebra Ossos FC got a freekick which was hit by Dário Sabóia. In the 68th minute of the match Camilo Berdaitz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Richard Breckenfeld showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 72nd match minute, Chimborazo A.F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurelio Bermudo to maneuver through the defense. Tiburcio Tello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 75th minute, Elivélton Garcia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arnulfo Benvido showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gugu Saldanha, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Tiburcio Tello kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. The Chimborazo A.F.C players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
