Thanks to some nice moves Constantino Bertol could shoot a difficult shot in the 16th minute, which Gilbert Treppa however easily saved by the left post. In the 22nd minute, Stanislaw Dawiec hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Urbano Benvido struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Gilbert Treppa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C. A. Atlanta. 27 minutes into the match, KS Zgredy's Kryspin Budarz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arnoldo Kismi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 28th minute KS Zgredy were awarded a corner. Rafal Ryback went to the cornerflag to take it. When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Kryspin Budarz sped through C. A. Atlanta's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Arnoldo Kismi. Eliseo Sasoin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aquiles Manex made in the 37th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Silverio Eutropio however managed to control. Gilbert Treppa came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by C. A. Atlanta's Eliseo Sasoin. But to his dismay, Eliseo Sasoin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 42 minutes into the match, KS Zgredy's goal looked a bit too open when Urbano Benvido came free, but Gilbert Treppa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 43 minutes into the game, Eliseo Sasoin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gilbert Treppa. Eliseo Sasoin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Aquiles Manex made in the 46th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Eliseo Sasoin. The supporters of C. A. Atlanta booed when KS Zgredy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Janusz Teofila didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kryspin Budarz was the one to do the kick off. Gilbert Treppa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Urbano Benvido in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 53rd minute Eliseo Sasoin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilbert Treppa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gilbert Treppa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Urbano Benvido in the 56th minute of play. After a rather tough play, KS Zgredy's Walery Japola got a free kick in the 56th minute. Arnoldo Kismi came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by KS Zgredy's Kryspin Budarz. But to his dismay, Kryspin Budarz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. 64 minutes into the match, C. A. Atlanta's goal looked a bit too open when Kryspin Budarz came free, but Arnoldo Kismi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the C. A. Atlanta defense, Kryspin Budarz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arnoldo Kismi. The C. A. Atlanta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arnoldo Kismi should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, C. A. Atlanta's Silverio Eutropio got a free kick in the 68th minute. In the 69th minute, Kryspin Budarz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KS Zgredy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. Arnoldo Kismi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kryspin Budarz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, KS Zgredy's Olgierd Rozanski got a free kick in the 82nd minute. The throw-in from Janusz Teofila in the 84th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by C. A. Atlanta's Evaristo Rosio. 86 minutes into the match, KS Zgredy's Kryspin Budarz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arnoldo Kismi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rafal Ryback hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Urbano Benvido in the 90th minute of play forced KS Zgredy's goalkeeper Gilbert Treppa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gilbert Treppa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eliseo Sasoin went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-4 was the resulting score. 94 minutes into the game, C. A. Atlanta's Eliseo Sasoin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gilbert Treppa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-4.
