The Halkus Valkus BK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. With a little luck, C.D. Ciudad de Soria's Lucas Sabina got control of the ball when Ovidiu Spirea tried to sneak it across the goal line. Halkus Valkus BK's Jiří Grim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ugutz Albizua in the 9th minute of play. Ovidiu Spirea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 21st minute, Troyes Fernandez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 22 minutes into the match, C.D. Ciudad de Soria's goal looked a bit too open when Malte Danielsson came free, but Lucas Sabina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 23 minutes C.D. Ciudad de Soria's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ovidiu Spirea who took care of the corner kick. After a defensive mix-up in C.D. Ciudad de Soria's zone, Ovidiu Spirea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucas Sabina came out of the goal and Ovidiu Spirea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 28 minutes, Marcos Villalcazar made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Halkus Valkus BK's Jiří Grim tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 31 minutes into the match, C.D. Ciudad de Soria's goalkeeper Lucas Sabina had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nick Usel. 32 minutes had been played when some careless play by C.D. Ciudad de Soria's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ovidiu Spirea was slow to take the kick. During this time Halkus Valkus BK's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Ovidiu Spirea got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Lucas Sabina quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Jiří Grim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ugutz Albizua in the 33rd minute of play. Lucas Sabina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Malte Danielsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. After 38 played minutes Malte Danielsson could catch the ball where he stood relatively free a bit outside the goal and without hesitation he completed 2-1 into the left cross. In the 40th match minute, Halkus Valkus BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sune Sjöberg to maneuver through the defense. Jiří Grim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ugutz Albizua, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marcos Villalcazar to make the kick off. Lucas Sabina stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ovidiu Spirea's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. When Halkus Valkus BK's Ovidiu Spirea in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye C.D. Ciudad de Soria's goalie prevented a goal. Nick Usel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Helge Sander kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Jiří Grim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Colon Rico, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. A collision led to C.D. Ciudad de Soria getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Lisandro Alcaraz hit a great ball. If Colon Rico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jiří Grim made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Ugutz Albizua sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to C.D. Ciudad de Soria getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Troyes Fernandez hit a great ball. After 78 played minutes C.D. Ciudad de Soria got a freekick which was hit by Troyes Fernandez. If Alexander Ålberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 83 minutes into the match, C.D. Ciudad de Soria's goal looked a bit too open when Malte Danielsson came free, but Lucas Sabina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lucas Sabina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Malte Danielsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. C.D. Ciudad de Soria's Etxepare Martin was substituted for Ugutz Albizua. After 88 played minutes Halkus Valkus BK got a freekick which was hit by Marc Beneth. 90 minutes into the game, Colon Rico recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jiří Grim. Colon Rico showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. Dionisio Canyelles who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 95thth minute tested the skills of Jiří Grim when he managed to save the team from getting behind.
