Minho FC's Ivan Ribeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camilo Arotza in the 3rd minute of play. Rodolfo Kepa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maurício Pimentel's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Lisandro Leite managed to get in a good position for a shot. Minho FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lisandro Leite was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodolfo Kepa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rodolfo Kepa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jordão Figueiredo in the 14th minute of play. Mauro Vergaray received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Ivan Ribeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC's Rodolfo Kepa. Rodolfo Kepa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lisandro Leite took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rodolfo Kepa. Rodolfo Kepa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 31st minute, Mauro Vergaray ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ivan Ribeiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 34th minute, Lisandro Leite left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Minho FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. After some careless play in the K.A.N.O. FC defense, Lisandro Leite kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rodolfo Kepa. The K.A.N.O. FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rodolfo Kepa should have stopped the shot. 45 minutes into the game, Lisandro Leite cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-6. Rodolfo Kepa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Camilo Arotza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Minho FC's Lisandro Leite slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rodolfo Kepa. That made the score 1-7 after 59 minutes of play. Rodolfo Kepa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lisandro Leite, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lisandro Leite got free with Rodolfo Kepa in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 70th match minute, K.A.N.O. FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by German Hegoi to maneuver through the defense. 75 minutes into the match, Maurício Pimentel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rodolfo Kepa. K.A.N.O. FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Maurício Pimentel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-8. After a rather tough play, Minho FC's Adélio Figueira got a free kick in the 77th minute. K.A.N.O. FC's Rodolfo Kepa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save K.A.N.O. FC from getting a goal against them. Jordão Figueiredo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rodolfo Kepa came out and tried to block the shot, but Jordão Figueiredo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-9 in the 82nd minute. After some careless play in the K.A.N.O. FC defense, Lisandro Leite kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rodolfo Kepa. The K.A.N.O. FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rodolfo Kepa should have stopped the shot. Rodolfo Kepa was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jordão Figueiredo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-12 in the 96 minute of play. The K.A.N.O. FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Minho FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
