Manual Hope charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Manual Hope the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of FC Harnaś Sanok booed when Sport Lisboa e Benfica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manual Hope didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 42nd minute Jedrzej Plachetka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Bazinet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tymoteusz Kosiorek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manual Hope in the 48th minute of the match.

A collision led to FC Harnaś Sanok getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Klement Cupial hit a great ball. Manual Hope recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, FC Harnaś Sanok's Walery Zywiec got a free kick in the 61st minute. If Antoine Norton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sport Lisboa e Benfica's Will Donovan was substituted for Shaun Wang. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jedrzej Plachetka in the 76th minute of play forced Sport Lisboa e Benfica's goalkeeper Emanuel Bazinet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Antoine Norton in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tymoteusz Kosiorek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 87th minute of the match Sport Lisboa e Benfica got a corner. FC Harnaś Sanok's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marquis Hopper ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Marquis Hopper almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Harnaś Sanok's Tymoteusz Kosiorek did a great save. Rey Pratt kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Sport Lisboa e Benfica's Dominic Hahn was substituted for Patrik Cane. Rey Pratt hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Sport Lisboa e Benfica players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC Harnaś Sanok.
