In the 20th minute, Barnaba Drebit hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kryspin Treppa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henrik Anton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 26 minutes into the match, Gwarek Zabrze's goalkeeper Kryspin Treppa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hendrik Kobakäpp. Arnold Lanen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Kryspin Treppa made a huge save. Kryspin Treppa was out of position in the 29 minute of play, and Arnold Lanen capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Arnold Lanen really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Radomil Kaszubowski charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Kryspin Treppa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Angelino Jolin in the 41st minute. After 46 played minutes Gwarek Zabrze got a freekick which was hit by Radomil Kaszubowski. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

The supporters of Gwarek Zabrze booed when Club Ahja was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hendrik Kobakäpp didn't get a good kick on the ball. Club Ahja's Avraam Iasonidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zygmunt Klejnowski in the 78th minute of play.
