Ossi Sainio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sertel Adıvar having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olen Homo in the 8th minute of play forced Poppy FC's goalkeeper Sertel Adıvar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Karhulan Veikot's goal looked a bit too open when Aziz Hallaçoğlu came free, but Tuomo Puikkonen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 14 minutes into the game, Kaarle Tukio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Karhulan Veikot's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Poppy FC the free kick. Sertel Adıvar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olen Homo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 26 minutes, Aziz Hallaçoğlu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Poppy FC and the Karhulan Veikot players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Poppy FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Aziz Hallaçoğlu hit a great ball. Iso Kalu's late challenge caught a Poppy FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Iso Kalu helped the player get up and apologised. Tuomo Puikkonen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Qu Ling Lin's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Olen Homo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sertel Adıvar having to make a save. 36 minutes into the match, Poppy FC's goal looked a bit too open when Olen Homo came free, but Sertel Adıvar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roni Vihermäki hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Karhulan Veikot's Tuomo Puikkonen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bedir Şirvan in the 39th minute of play. In the 41st minute, Olen Homo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nazil Özbilir hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match.

The wind increased when Olen Homo made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Karhulan Veikot booed when Poppy FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bedir Şirvan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tuomo Puikkonen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aziz Hallaçoğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Olen Homo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sertel Adıvar having to make a save. Sertel Adıvar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olen Homo in the 65th minute of play. Olen Homo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Sertel Adıvar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Karhulan Veikot's zone, Qu Ling Lin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tuomo Puikkonen came out of the goal and Qu Ling Lin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Olen Homo came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Karhulan Veikot fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olen Homo couldn't finish the play. Patrik Flinck kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Olen Homo in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sertel Adıvar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 79th minute of the match, Qu Ling Lin got a very nice opportunity to score, but Tuomo Puikkonen was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 80thth minute of the game Qu Ling Lin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Karhulan Veikot's Tuomo Puikkonen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 81 minutes had been played when some careless play by Karhulan Veikot's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Qu Ling Lin was slow to take the kick. During this time Poppy FC's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Qu Ling Lin got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tuomo Puikkonen quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Tuomo Puikkonen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Qu Ling Lin in the 83rd minute of play. If Aziz Hallaçoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valentin Uusiniemi charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Valentin Uusiniemi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Karhulan Veikot getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Valentin Uusiniemi hit a great ball. Aziz Hallaçoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Tuomo Puikkonen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
