Ali Reşit made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Jonathan Atarrabi sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Thomas in the 4th minute of play forced Gençlerbirliği's goalkeeper Ali Reşit to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ali Reşit showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo Thomas in the 6th minute of the match. In the 10thth minute of the game Eliseo Thomas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gençlerbirliği's Ali Reşit was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gençlerbirliği's Ali Reşit played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Thomas in the 17th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Gençlerbirliği's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Thomas came free, but Ali Reşit reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gençlerbirliği's Ali Reşit played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Berni Bengi in the 28th minute of play. In the 29th minute of the match Berni y Benja FC got a corner. Gençlerbirliği's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joaquin Madeo ran over to the corner to take the kick. Berni y Benja FC's Joaquin Madeo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ali Reşit in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Berni Bengi got free with Ali Reşit in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ali Reşit was a little too slow when Berni Bengi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 35th minute. The score was now 2-0. 43 minutes into the game, Berni y Benja FC's Berni Bengi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ali Reşit made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sufi Tayguner was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Gençlerbirliği's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Thomas came free, but Ali Reşit reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 56th minute, Yavuz Selimhan Açıkel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 57 minutes of play, Berni y Benja FC's Eliseo Thomas made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ali Reşit was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 60th minute, Berni Bengi made a precise shot to the right of Ali Reşit. Gençlerbirliği's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. 66 minutes into the match, Gençlerbirliği's goal looked a bit too open when Berni Bengi came free, but Ali Reşit reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Atarrabi in the 67th minute of play forced Gençlerbirliği's goalkeeper Ali Reşit to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Gençlerbirliği defense, Jonathan Atarrabi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ali Reşit. The Gençlerbirliği fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ali Reşit should have stopped the shot. Berni y Benja FC's Eulalio Indalecio was substituted for Jonathan Atarrabi. Berni y Benja FC's Efrain Formerio was substituted for Wilfredo Orlondo. 74 minutes into the game, Tuncay Falcıoğlu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gençlerbirliği's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Berni y Benja FC the free kick. Berni y Benja FC's Isaias Bernad was substituted for Ivan Lordi. Ali Reşit showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseo Thomas, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. After a rather tough play, Berni y Benja FC's Isaias Bernad got a free kick in the 78th minute. Tuncay Falcıoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Marcelino Merexildo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 83 minutes into the match, Gençlerbirliği's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Thomas came free, but Ali Reşit reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th minute, Berni Bengi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Berni y Benja FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. Ali Reşit made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eulalio Indalecio in the 88th minute of play. Yavuz Selimhan Açıkel's late challenge caught a Berni y Benja FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yavuz Selimhan Açıkel helped the player get up and apologised. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eliseo Thomas in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ali Reşit saved Gençlerbirliği from getting behind. 95 minutes into the match, Gençlerbirliği's goal looked a bit too open when Eulalio Indalecio came free, but Ali Reşit reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 97 minutes, Berni Bengi put it in 8-0 from a short distance just to the right of Ali Reşit. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Berni y Benja FC had played much better football throughout.
