Recep Talha Ilgın's late challenge caught a Real Sla-wa C.F's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Recep Talha Ilgın helped the player get up and apologised. Real Sla-wa C.F's Remigiusz Pryputnicki was substituted for Zachary Dulka. Recep Talha Ilgın kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aleksander Ludwiczak during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 14 played minutes Real Sla-wa C.F got a freekick which was hit by Aleksander Ludwiczak. Szymon Pietrowicz acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 15th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Cemal Sefa. The crowd rose to their feet as Gençlerbirliği's Recep Talha Ilgın slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Szymon Pietrowicz. That made the score 1-0 after 19 minutes of play. 21 minutes into the match, Aleksander Ludwiczak had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ali Reşit. Gençlerbirliği's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aleksander Ludwiczak was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After 31 minutes of play, Real Sla-wa C.F's Barnaba Literski made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gençlerbirliği's Ali Reşit played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Kaczanka in the 34th minute of play. Gençlerbirliği's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Recep Talha Ilgın made a kick off. In the 61st minute, Barnaba Literski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Real Sla-wa C.F fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. In the 66th minute of the match, Barnaba Literski got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ali Reşit was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 67 minutes into the game, Julian Kaczanka cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Ali Reşit was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Gençlerbirliği's zone, Julian Kaczanka stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ali Reşit came out of the goal and Julian Kaczanka tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Real Sla-wa C.F's Szymon Pietrowicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Recep Talha Ilgın in the 80th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Recep Talha Ilgın in the 81st minute of play forced Real Sla-wa C.F's goalkeeper Szymon Pietrowicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Gençlerbirliği's Ali Reşit got control of the ball when Ksawery Jaks tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Gençlerbirliği defense, Remigiusz Czermak kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ali Reşit. Gürbüz Kurceren took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 93rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Szymon Pietrowicz. Real Sla-wa C.F's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Julian Kaczanka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Real Sla-wa C.F played a much better game than Gençlerbirliği and deserved their victory. The Gençlerbirliği players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
