Spectators: 189 (Terracing: 143, Seating: 43, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Peeter Uluk started the match with the kick off. In the 10th minute, Josh Carbonaro fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Valdo Neppi, passed just outside the right post. Valdo Neppi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Piscopo in the 17th minute of the match. FC Vorbuze's defense didn't have a chance, in the 19th minute, when Josh Carbonaro scored to the left of an out of position Valdo Neppi, making the score, 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Miguel Piscopo in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Valdo Neppi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Josh Carbonaro in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Valdo Neppi saved FC Vorbuze from getting behind. Valdo Neppi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Piscopo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Valdo Neppi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Piscopo, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Josh Carbonaro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Valdo Neppi having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Floriana Celtics's Miguel Piscopo got a free kick in the 45th minute. The audience was convinced that Peeter Uluk's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jason Haber was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. FC Vorbuze's Valdo Neppi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Piscopo in the 48th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Miguel Piscopo made a kick off. Andro Tara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Jason Haber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Floriana Celtics's Jean Carl Ciantar pulled a muscle in his leg after 66 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 66 minutes into the game, Henri Aas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Vorbuze's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Floriana Celtics the free kick. Floriana Celtics's Antonio Laudi was substituted for Jean Carl Ciantar. The supporters of Floriana Celtics booed when FC Vorbuze was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kuldar Viin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Floriana Celtics made a substitution. Andrew Cuschieri replaced Gregory Boffa. Kuldar Viin hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Miguel Piscopo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Valdo Neppi having to make a save. The supporters of Floriana Celtics booed when FC Vorbuze was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erkki Saare didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 95 minutes of play, Floriana Celtics's Miguel Piscopo made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Valdo Neppi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Floriana Celtics's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
