Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) After a rather tough play, Bembenfica's Sandro Correia got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Bembenfica's José Monteiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beppe Zoff in the 4th minute of play. Eugenio Di Giuseppe who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 10thth minute tested the skills of José Monteiro when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Eugenio Di Giuseppes short, quick shot in the 13thth minute got José Monteiro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 14th minute of the match, Eugenio Di Giuseppe got a very nice opportunity to score, but José Monteiro was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eugenio Di Giuseppe during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Sorci Viola getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Eugenio Di Giuseppe hit a great ball. Beppe Zoff took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised José Monteiro. José Monteiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 24th minute, Eugenio Di Giuseppe fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of José Monteiro, passed just outside the right post. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Eugenio Di Giuseppe put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of José Monteiro. Eugenio Di Giuseppe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eugenio Di Giuseppe's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 32ndth minute, José Monteiro skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 40th minute, Emanuel Antunes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. José Monteiro came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Sorci Viola's Beppe Zoff. But to his dismay, Beppe Zoff quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.
The audience was convinced that Eugenio Di Giuseppe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but José Monteiro was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. In the 55th minute, Eugenio Di Giuseppe left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sorci Viola fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. José Monteiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugenio Di Giuseppe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 59th minute, Homero Mesquita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Eugenio Di Giuseppe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sorci Viola's supporters rose to their feet, but Eugenio Di Giuseppe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. José Monteiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 63rd minute Beppe Zoff shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Monteiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Bembenfica getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Emanuel Antunes hit a great ball. Sorci Viola's Eugenio Di Giuseppe got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eugenio Di Giuseppe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 70 minutes into the match, Eugenio Di Giuseppe notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Bembenfica's José Monteiro. José Monteiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 72 played minutes Bembenfica got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Ferrão. 74 minutes into the game, Eugenio Di Giuseppe cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. José Monteiro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 81 minutes into the match, Bembenfica's goal looked a bit too open when Eugenio Di Giuseppe came free, but José Monteiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th minute Eugenio Di Giuseppe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Monteiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Felice Tozzi came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Sorci Viola fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felice Tozzi couldn't finish the play. The attack was good, but when Eugenio Di Giuseppe in the 87th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 88th minute Felice Tozzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Monteiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eugenio Di Giuseppe in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg José Monteiro saved Bembenfica from getting behind. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Sorci Viola had played much better football throughout.
