The audience thought a goal was coming when Fernando Peruxu got free with Aigeus Milionis in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 20 minutes into the game, Hacha y Tiza FC's Fabricio Xabel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aigeus Milionis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After a rather tough play, Hahay's Segundo Videl got a free kick in the 22nd minute. 24 minutes into the match, Delmar Berenguer notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Hacha y Tiza FC's Erubiel Osoro. Erubiel Osoro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hahay's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gökmen Parshan in the 38th minute. The corner ended in Gökmen Parshan almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Hacha y Tiza FC's Erubiel Osoro did a great save. A collision led to Hahay getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Fabian Grocholski hit a great ball. With an all-out effort, Hacha y Tiza FC's Aigeus Milionis threw himself towards the right post 40 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Fernando Peruxu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabricio Xabel in the 41st minute of play forced Hahay's goalkeeper Aigeus Milionis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd minute Delmar Berenguer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erubiel Osoro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Delmar Berenguer in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erubiel Osoro saved Hacha y Tiza FC from getting behind.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fernando Peruxu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Erubiel Osoro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wawrzyniec Lewandowski in the 59th minute of play. Wawrzyniec Lewandowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Erubiel Osoro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hahay made a substitution. Iwan Skaradoski replaced Jurand Madej. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabricio Xabel in the 68th minute of play forced Hahay's goalkeeper Aigeus Milionis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erubiel Osoro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Delmar Berenguer went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. After 73 played minutes Hacha y Tiza FC got a freekick which was hit by Isaac Erramu. After a defensive mix-up in Hacha y Tiza FC's zone, Gökmen Parshan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erubiel Osoro came out of the goal and Gökmen Parshan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Jacinto Laurin fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hacha y Tiza FC's protests and gave Jacinto Laurin a yellow card for diving instead. Jacinto Laurin hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. In the 77th minute Delmar Berenguer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erubiel Osoro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 81 minutes into the game, Hacha y Tiza FC's Fabricio Xabel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aigeus Milionis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Delmar Berenguer who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 94thth minute tested the skills of Erubiel Osoro when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Erubiel Osoro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Blažej Ravanelli in the 96th minute of the match. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
