Boguslaw Bartochowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonardo Marques having to interfere. In the 15th minute, Agnaldo Garcia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 18 played minutes Nada Pontual F.C got a freekick which was hit by Sandrinho Rosado. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boguslaw Bartochowski in the 19th minute of play forced Nada Pontual F.C's goalkeeper Leonardo Marques to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonardo Marques showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacek Domeradzki, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. 24 minutes into the game, Ryszard Jeziorkowski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bialski Bastion Legii's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nada Pontual F.C the free kick. The supporters of Nada Pontual F.C booed when Bialski Bastion Legii was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ryszard Jeziorkowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Boguslaw Bartochowski in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leonardo Marques prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 30th minute, Agnaldo Garcia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Walery Bartelak was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Hortêncio Vander scored 2-1 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Walery Bartelak, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 39th minute Jacek Domeradzki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonardo Marques saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jacek Domeradzki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Walery Bartelak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hortêncio Vander in the 46th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Boguslaw Bartochowski was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st match minute, Nada Pontual F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zé Carlos Neves to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 52 minutes, Marek Malik managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bialski Bastion Legii's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marek Malik was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 53 minutes into the game, Luís Fábio Senna was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nada Pontual F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bialski Bastion Legii the free kick. Luís Fábio Senna hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Boguslaw Bartochowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Leonardo Marques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 61st minute, Hortêncio Vander ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Walery Bartelak was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. After a rather tough play, Nada Pontual F.C's Zé Carlos Neves got a free kick in the 65th minute. After 73 played minutes Bialski Bastion Legii got a freekick which was hit by Marek Malik. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hortêncio Vander in the 74th minute of play forced Bialski Bastion Legii's goalkeeper Walery Bartelak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Milosz Starogardzki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 89th minute Walmyr Tasso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walery Bartelak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, Jacek Domeradzki put it in 3-4 from a short distance just to the right of Leonardo Marques. When Zé Carlos Neves fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nada Pontual F.C's protests and gave Zé Carlos Neves a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Nada Pontual F.C getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Zé Carlos Neves hit a great ball. In the 95th minute of the match Marek Malik shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Leonardo Marques showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Bialski Bastion Legii walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
