Santos Lartaun hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. 7-0 became the score in the 49th minute when Idalécio Malafaia elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 7-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Elpidio Jurdan made a kick off. Manuel Vigário might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Candido Orti. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out.
