Lisandro Remicio lost his temper 15 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Hafiz Romad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Urbano Sagrario in the 23rd minute of play. Bartolo Igon hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Venancio Hodei didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Naser Awat went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Naser Awat in the 31st minute of play forced Franja Dorada's goalkeeper Venancio Hodei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Rafiq Bahir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th minute Naser Awat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Venancio Hodei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes had been played when some careless play by Franja Dorada's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mohammad Fareed was slow to take the kick. During this time Líbano's players had a chance to rest. Franja Dorada's Venancio Hodei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdul Jabbar Yazan in the 40th minute of play. The supporters of Líbano booed when Franja Dorada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Abajas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Franja Dorada's Urbano Sagrario got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half Líbano were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Urbano Sagrario was the one to do the kick off. Hafiz Romad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Urbano Sagrario, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Venancio Hodei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abdul Jabbar Yazan in the 54th minute of play. In the 56thth minute of the game Naser Awat who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Franja Dorada's Venancio Hodei was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hafiz Romad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonardo Paio in the 58th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Urbano Sagrario in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hafiz Romad saved Líbano from getting behind. Hafiz Romad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Urbano Sagrario, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Abdul Jabbar Yazan was extremely unlucky when he, in the 62nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 65 minutes into the match, Abdul Jabbar Yazan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Venancio Hodei. Franja Dorada's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abdul Jabbar Yazan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Cosme Tanio hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Mohammad Fareed could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Venancio Hodei made a huge save. Líbano's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mohammad Fareed in the 74th minute. Líbano's Mohammad Fareed was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Venancio Hodei in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Florentino Rito charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Florentino Rito the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Líbano booed when Franja Dorada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florentino Rito didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mohammad Fareed took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 76th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Venancio Hodei. Franja Dorada's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Franja Dorada's defense didn't have a chance, in the 79th minute, when Abdul Jabbar Yazan scored to the left of an out of position Venancio Hodei, making the score, 0-4. Venancio Hodei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Naser Awat in the 84th minute of play. Hatem Mujahid recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Franja Dorada's Venancio Hodei got control of the ball when Naser Awat tried to sneak it across the goal line. Venancio Hodei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafiq Bahir in the 92nd minute of the match. Venancio Hodei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hatem Mujahid, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Venancio Hodei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Naser Awat in the 96th minute of play. Líbano's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
