The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Pascal Trefzer took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Muharrem Özcam. Muharrem Özcam dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After a rather tough play, SarıKırmızı F.Akademisi's Kerimhan Oğurata got a free kick in the 6th minute. Orihuela Club de Fútbol's Joey Molina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fırat Çakıroğlu in the 10th minute of play. Pascal Trefzer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Nicanor Alcaraz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Muharrem Özcam having to interfere. Muharrem Özcam didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pascal Trefzer went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ahmet Hakan Sermet during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ahmet Hakan Sermet hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Orihuela Club de Fútbol's Joey Molina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aykut İklim in the 22nd minute of play. A collision led to SarıKırmızı F.Akademisi getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Ceyhun Tecimer hit a great ball. 24 minutes into the match, SarıKırmızı F.Akademisi's goal looked a bit too open when Marcos Sainz came free, but Muharrem Özcam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The SarıKırmızı F.Akademisi fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when SarıKırmızı F.Akademisi's Gencer Eyüpoğlu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience was convinced that Gencer Eyüpoğlu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joey Molina was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, SarıKırmızı F.Akademisi's Bora Mutluhan got a free kick in the 30th minute. A collision led to Orihuela Club de Fútbol getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Pascal Trefzer hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fırat Çakıroğlu in the 38th minute of play forced Orihuela Club de Fútbol's goalkeeper Joey Molina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Orihuela Club de Fútbol's Don Cabezon got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gottfried Ferdi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Gencer Eyüpoğlu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joey Molina was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. In the 56th minute Nicanor Alcaraz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Muharrem Özcam saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, SarıKırmızı F.Akademisi's Aykut İklim got a free kick in the 59th minute. If Nicanor Alcaraz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 67th minute Gottfried Ferdi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joey Molina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 68th minute, Gottfried Ferdi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SarıKırmızı F.Akademisi fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. A sloppy throw-in by Heriberto Nueva in the 73rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by SarıKırmızı F.Akademisi's Aykut İklim. Gencer Eyüpoğlu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Joey Molina came out and tried to block the shot, but Gencer Eyüpoğlu slotted it home off the left post making it 2-4 in the 75th minute. Aykut İklim hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. 80 minutes in the game Özal Barbaros did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Kerimhan Oğurata. During the 81st minute of the match Ahmet Hakan Sermet completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ahmet Hakan Sermet a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 82nd minute, Ahmet Hakan Sermet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 83rd minute, Marcos Sainz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Muharrem Özcam was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-4. Muharrem Özcam didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nicanor Alcaraz went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-4 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Gottfried Ferdi managed to get in a good position for a shot. SarıKırmızı F.Akademisi's supporters rose to their feet, but Gottfried Ferdi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joey Molina breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
