The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Helge Markusson during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jens-Ove Nordkvist showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 34 minutes, Oliveiro Sibila made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Hallstahammar IK's Jens-Ove Nordkvist tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 38th match minute, Hallstahammar IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Wallgren to maneuver through the defense. When Thor Reyes came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Atlético Grau Piura fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thor Reyes couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Isauro Caloca managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atlético Grau Piura's supporters rose to their feet, but Isauro Caloca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jens-Ove Nordkvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Despite this Jens-Ove Nordkvist quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Fabian Oterino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Jens-Ove Nordkvist made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fabian Oterino in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jens-Ove Nordkvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fabian Oterino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ascencio Belon in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jens-Ove Nordkvist saved Hallstahammar IK from getting behind. Taaniel Reyes kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Fabian Oterinos short, quick shot in the 69thth minute got Jens-Ove Nordkvist to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 69thth minute of the game Ascencio Belon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hallstahammar IK's Jens-Ove Nordkvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fabian Oterino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Jens-Ove Nordkvist made a huge save. 81 minutes had been played when some careless play by Atlético Grau Piura's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Helge Markusson was slow to take the kick. During this time Hallstahammar IK's players had a chance to rest. Bengt-Rune Brummer charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bengt-Rune Brummer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Diego Trujillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jens-Åke Nyman in the 100th minute of the match.
