Maximo Henric took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gonzalo Morales, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 18 minutes into the match, Furia Calamar's goal looked a bit too open when Gonzalo Morales came free, but Maximo Henric reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gonzalo Morales ran back to his position shaking his head. After 40th play minutes Gonzalo Morales shot 0-4, a short shot which went by Maximo Henric and just under the crossbar into goal. Michel Platini fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 43rd minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. After the first half La Naranja Mecánica were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Camilo Marin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Israel Xabat's late challenge caught a Furia Calamar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Israel Xabat helped the player get up and apologised. After 51 played minutes La Naranja Mecánica got a freekick which was hit by Israel Xabat. In the 53rdth minute of the game Gonzalo Morales who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Furia Calamar's Maximo Henric was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. La Naranja Mecánica's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Samuel Checa in the 54th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Gonzalo Morales managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Naranja Mecánica's supporters rose to their feet, but Gonzalo Morales was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maximo Henric breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 74th minute of the match, Gonzalo Morales tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Maximo Henric saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 75 minutes into the match, Gonzalo Morales had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Maximo Henric. Furia Calamar's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gonzalo Morales was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. After 78 played minutes Furia Calamar got a freekick which was hit by Nacho Vázquez. In the 87th match minute, Furia Calamar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nacho Vázquez to maneuver through the defense. In the 88th minute, Gonzalo Morales made a precise shot to the right of Maximo Henric. Furia Calamar's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-9. When the final whistle sounded La Naranja Mecánica left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Furia Calamar.
