With a little luck, SHINERAY FC - DMZ's Gualter Brasil got control of the ball when Luciano Leão tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horácio Damião in the 11th minute of play forced SHINERAY FC - DMZ's goalkeeper Gualter Brasil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Alfredo Fernandes could shoot a difficult shot in the 12th minute, which Gualter Brasil however easily saved by the left post. Gualter Brasil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedrão Souza in the 16th minute of the match. Luciano Leão could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Gualter Brasil made a huge save. In the 22nd minute, REAL VASCO RIO's Horácio Damião ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gualter Brasil. Gualter Brasil yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. Gualter Brasil made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Ricardo Cosme sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of REAL VASCO RIO booed when SHINERAY FC - DMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osvaldinho Moreira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gualter Brasil made an important save on a dangerous shot by Horácio Damião in the 32nd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Pedrão Souza kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gualter Brasil. That made the score 5-0 in the 34 minute of play. Sydney Berger hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alfredo Fernandes to make the kick off. Gualter Brasil didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Horácio Damião went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. In the 57th minute, Jeferson Toledo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 60th minute Horácio Damião shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gualter Brasil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 62 minutes into the game, when Adriano do Nascimento put in a rough tackle. 61 minutes into the game, one of SHINERAY FC - DMZ:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 64th minute there was a penalty for REAL VASCO RIO. José Pedro Simão stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Gualter Brasil. 8-0. In the 67th minute, Pedrão Souza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gualter Brasil was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-0. Gualter Brasil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horácio Damião in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 78th minute Luciano Leão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gualter Brasil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jeferson Pinheiro during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 79th minute, Jeferson Pinheiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 84th minute Luciano Leão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gualter Brasil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alfredo Fernandes in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gualter Brasil saved SHINERAY FC - DMZ from getting behind. 86 minutes into the game, one of SHINERAY FC - DMZ:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 88th minute there was a penalty for REAL VASCO RIO. José Pedro Simão stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Gualter Brasil. 10-0. In the 94th minute, Alfredo Fernandes made a precise shot to the right of Gualter Brasil. SHINERAY FC - DMZ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 11-0. Gualter Brasil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luciano Leão, who was totally free with the ball in the 99th minute. There was no doubt that REAL VASCO RIO were the better team. REAL VASCO RIO's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
