Harvey Smith was out of position in the 12 minute of play, and Evaristo Guillem capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Evaristo Guillem really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Abel Polo struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Harvey Smith didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Grütly. When Evaristo Guillem came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Grütly fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Evaristo Guillem couldn't finish the play. Gaston Edur blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Harvey Smith having to make a save. Harvey Smith showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abel Polo, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abel Polo in the 28th minute of play forced FC Shakhtar Donetsk's goalkeeper Harvey Smith to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 28 minutes into the game, Abel Polo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Harvey Smith was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 32 minutes into the match, FC Shakhtar Donetsk's goal looked a bit too open when Abel Polo came free, but Harvey Smith reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, FC Shakhtar Donetsk's Giles Le Saux got a free kick in the 37th minute. A collision led to FC Shakhtar Donetsk getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Toby Morgan hit a great ball. Abel Polo might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Harvey Smith. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Abel Polo ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 43rd minute, Evaristo Guillem got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 46th play minutes Abel Polo shot 4-0, a short shot which went by Harvey Smith and just under the crossbar into goal.
