Seating: 47, VIP seats: 4) Amirul Hock started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. DUBAI Palm Jumeirah's Shaheen Al Ali played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arif Ching in the 4th minute of play. 6 minutes into the match, Amirul Hock had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Shaheen Al Ali. DUBAI Palm Jumeirah's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Amirul Hock was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. DUBAI Palm Jumeirah's Shaheen Al Ali played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lamar Wenyong in the 10th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sami Al Balool during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Sami Al Balool hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Shaheen Al Ali made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adam Hsi in the 17th minute of play. A collision led to DUBAI Palm Jumeirah getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Bader Al Jalahma hit a great ball. Oakham's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tan Chew in the 21st minute. A nice corner shot did that Tan Chew got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Shaheen Al Ali quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 26 minutes into the match, Khairul Sarangapani had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Shaheen Al Ali. DUBAI Palm Jumeirah's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Khairul Sarangapani was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Maitham Al Hajraf charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maitham Al Hajraf the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, DUBAI Palm Jumeirah's Maitham Al Hajraf got a free kick in the 29th minute. Shaheen Al Ali stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adam Hsi's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. A collision led to DUBAI Palm Jumeirah getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Maitham Al Hajraf hit a great ball. In the 35th minute, Oun Shamsah hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 38th minute, Khairul Sarangapani left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Oakham fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Shaheen Al Ali didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adam Hsi went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. If Adam Hsi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Moath Al Ansari to make the kick off. With a little luck, DUBAI Palm Jumeirah's Shaheen Al Ali got control of the ball when Amirul Hock tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Amirul Hock put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Shaheen Al Ali. In the 57th minute, Oakham's Khairul Sarangapani dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. Moath Al Ansari might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bineesh Liang. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Moath Al Ansari ran back to his position shaking his head. Bineesh Liang showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moath Al Ansari, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. 63 minutes into the game, Khairul Sarangapani recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Shaheen Al Ali. Khairul Sarangapani showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-7. The supporters of Oakham booed when DUBAI Palm Jumeirah was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sami Al Balool didn't get a good kick on the ball. Shaheen Al Ali made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gerard Choo in the 70th minute. Amirul Hock scored 0-8 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Shaheen Al Ali, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, DUBAI Palm Jumeirah's Shaheen Al Ali got control of the ball when Khairul Sarangapani tried to sneak it across the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, Khairul Sarangapani had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Shaheen Al Ali. DUBAI Palm Jumeirah's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Khairul Sarangapani was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-11. DUBAI Palm Jumeirah's Shaheen Al Ali proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save DUBAI Palm Jumeirah from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, DUBAI Palm Jumeirah's Shaheen Al Ali got control of the ball when Khairul Sarangapani tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gerard Choo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Shaheen Al Ali made a huge save. 94 minutes into the match, DUBAI Palm Jumeirah's goalkeeper Shaheen Al Ali had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Khairul Sarangapani. When the final whistle sounded Oakham left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than DUBAI Palm Jumeirah.
