The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Danny Ings got free with Jakub Trela in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 4 minutes into the game, Wieslaw Filipowski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Seward United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Elizabeth Three Lions FC the free kick. After 5 played minutes Seward United got a freekick which was hit by Wieslaw Filipowski. Seward United's Jakub Trela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adam Cornell in the 9th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Galin Nikov made a precise shot to the right of Jakub Trela. Seward United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Danny Ings's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 14thth minute, Jakub Trela skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Michail Antonio was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 17th minute. Elizabeth Three Lions FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After 22 played minutes Seward United got a freekick which was hit by Miroslaw Brudzisz. In the 23rd minute Michail Antonio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jakub Trela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jakub Trela didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 26th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. In the 31st match minute, Elizabeth Three Lions FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruce Sheldon to maneuver through the defense. In the 34th minute, Elizabeth Three Lions FC's Michail Antonio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jakub Trela. Jakub Trela yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. Jakub Trela was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bruce Sheldon showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-0 in the 38 minute of play. 6-0 became the score in the 42nd minute when Michail Antonio elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Seward United's zone, Bruce Sheldon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jakub Trela came out of the goal and Bruce Sheldon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 47th minute, Elizabeth Three Lions FC's Danny Ings ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jakub Trela. Jakub Trela yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 7-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Juliusz Bochynski made a kick off. Elizabeth Three Lions FC's Max Washington played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juliusz Bochynski in the 54th minute of play. Danny Ings took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jakub Trela. Jakub Trela dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. Jakub Trela didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Michail Antonio went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score. When Dawid Banan came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Seward United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dawid Banan couldn't finish the play. Danny Ings scored 10-0 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jakub Trela, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jakub Trela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Galin Nikov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 68th minute, Wieslaw Filipowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Galin Nikov struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Jakub Trela didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Elizabeth Three Lions FC. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bruce Sheldon during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Michail Antonio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jakub Trela having to make a save. Jakub Trela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruce Sheldon in the 78th minute of play. Max Washington took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juliusz Bochynski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elizabeth Three Lions FC's Alonso Quesada was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jakub Trela in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 93rd minute, Danny Ings ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jakub Trela was frozen by the shot and now it was 12-0. Galin Nikov scored 13-0 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jakub Trela, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Elizabeth Three Lions FC fully deserved thier win.
