Blasco Cerio kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the game, Leoiar Maceira recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Işıkalp Kalhan. Leoiar Maceira showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. After having played for 20 minutes, Leoiar Maceira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. I.A.S.A's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leoiar Maceira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Işıkalp Kalhan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexandro Mansilla in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 32nd minute, Zikri Akkaya ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Torbjörn Alin was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Ricardo Kaká received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Torbjörn Alin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 44 minutes into the match, I.A.S.A's goal looked a bit too open when Zikri Akkaya came free, but Torbjörn Alin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ricardo Kaká made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Ricardo Kaká reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Torbjörn Alin. The goal made the score 2-3. 58 minutes into the match, I.A.S.A's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardo Kaká came free, but Torbjörn Alin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Blue Mountain State's Işıkalp Kalhan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blasco Cerio in the 61st minute of play. In the 65th minute Ricardo Kaká shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Torbjörn Alin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ricardo Kaká in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Torbjörn Alin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 69 minutes into the match, Alexandro Mansilla had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Işıkalp Kalhan. Blue Mountain State's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alexandro Mansilla was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. In the 76th minute, Jerrold Arancibia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The I.A.S.A fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leoiar Maceira in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Işıkalp Kalhan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, I.A.S.A's Torbjörn Alin got control of the ball when Atak Tanın tried to sneak it across the goal line. Blue Mountain State were furious when Ali Kağan Seferoğlulları was red carded, 91 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The supporters of I.A.S.A booed when Blue Mountain State was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ali Kağan Seferoğlulları didn't get a good kick on the ball. Blasco Cerio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Işıkalp Kalhan having to make a save. There was no doubt that I.A.S.A were the better team. I.A.S.A's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
