In the 8th minute of the match Independiente got a corner. INFIERNO KSK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Anastasio Iraitz ran over to the corner to take the kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anastasio Iraitz in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joel Sazon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Anastasio Iraitz struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Joel Sazon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Independiente. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ruperto Meder got free with Severino Herena in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Joel Sazon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anastasio Iraitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anastasio Iraitz took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joel Sazon. Victorino Lalla lost his temper 24 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Joel Sazon had in the 26thth minute some difficulties stopping Anastasio Iraitz's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Anastasio Iraitz took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joel Sazon. Joel Sazon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Joel Sazon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnaldo Bide, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 28th minute, Arnaldo Bide ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joel Sazon was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. In the 33rdth minute of the game Anastasio Iraitz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but INFIERNO KSK's Joel Sazon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 34 minutes into the match, Independiente's goalkeeper Severino Herena had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Santiago Abela Medici. When Independiente's Anastasio Iraitz in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Leonel Ordono hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Anastasio Iraitz was the one to do the kick off. After 52 played minutes INFIERNO KSK got a freekick which was hit by Lucio Duardo. Esteban Hever scored 2-3 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Severino Herena, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 57 minutes into the match, Independiente's goal looked a bit too open when Santiago Abela Medici came free, but Severino Herena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Severino Herena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santiago Abela Medici, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Anastasio Iraitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Sazon having to interfere.
