Aļģis Engers was slow to take the kick. During this time Plaza Babys CF's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Yasin Saleh almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but C.D. Pepino’s's Ferrán Suarez did a great save. 13 minutes into the game, Ronaldão Ceresso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C.D. Pepino’s's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Plaza Babys CF the free kick. Ferrán Suarez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aparicio Ladra in the 15th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Romualdo Hetz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of C.D. Pepino’s booed when Plaza Babys CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis-Alfredo Belalcaraz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manuel Moya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurelio Raffo in the 19th minute of play. Aparicio Ladra could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Ferrán Suarez made a huge save. Manuel Moya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romualdo Hetz, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. After a defensive mix-up in C.D. Pepino’s's zone, Pio Checa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ferrán Suarez came out of the goal and Pio Checa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Aurelio Raffo fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.D. Pepino’s's protests and gave Aurelio Raffo a yellow card for diving instead. C.D. Pepino’s's Ferrán Suarez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aļģis Engers in the 41st minute of play. If Yasin Saleh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 46 minutes into the match, C.D. Pepino’s's goal looked a bit too open when Yasin Saleh came free, but Ferrán Suarez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 53rd minute Aļģis Engers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferrán Suarez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 54 minutes into the match, Plaza Babys CF's goalkeeper Manuel Moya had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Romualdo Hetz. After 60 minutes, Aparicio Ladra mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Plaza Babys CF and the C.D. Pepino’s players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Plaza Babys CF getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Aparicio Ladra hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Plaza Babys CF's zone, Romualdo Hetz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manuel Moya came out of the goal and Romualdo Hetz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Plaza Babys CF made a substitution. Bo Kristiansson replaced Aparicio Ladra. C.D. Pepino’s's Isidoro Blanchetau was substituted for Teofilo Aliste. After 66 played minutes C.D. Pepino’s got a freekick which was hit by Norino Zuasnabar. After some careless play in the C.D. Pepino’s defense, Yasin Saleh kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ferrán Suarez. The C.D. Pepino’s fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ferrán Suarez should have stopped the shot. Manuel Moya made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aurelio Raffo in the 71st minute. Manuel Moya made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Isidoro Blanchetau sent off a good shot on target. After 75 minutes, Bo Kristiansson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Plaza Babys CF and the C.D. Pepino’s players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 75 played minutes Plaza Babys CF got a freekick which was hit by Bo Kristiansson. C.D. Pepino’s's Pere Jordi Polloni was substituted for Aurelio Raffo. A collision led to Plaza Babys CF getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Bo Kristiansson hit a great ball. Plaza Babys CF's Manuel Moya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raúlo Varletta in the 79th minute of play. Ferrán Suarez came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Plaza Babys CF's Yasin Saleh. But to his dismay, Yasin Saleh quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 86 minutes into the match, C.D. Pepino’s's goal looked a bit too open when Bo Kristiansson came free, but Ferrán Suarez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. C.D. Pepino’s made a substitution. Teodosio Estévez replaced Romualdo Hetz. Ferrán Suarez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bo Kristiansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute.
