Spectators: 195 (Terracing: 147, Seating: 45, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Thanos Chelis kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexis Stratigakis in the 3rd minute of play forced GREEN LIONS's goalkeeper Vaggelis Pantelidis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of GREEN LIONS booed when ΠΑΟΚ FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aris Voutsas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vaggelis Pantelidis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vassilis Banasidis in the 9th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Thanos Chelis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vaggelis Pantelidis was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. 14 minutes into the match, ΠΑΟΚ FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ignatios Papachronakis came free, but Makis Tselementes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute Filippos Kopelis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Makis Tselementes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, ΠΑΟΚ FC's goal looked a bit too open when Filippos Kopelis came free, but Makis Tselementes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th match minute, GREEN LIONS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sokratis Orfanopoulos to maneuver through the defense. ΠΑΟΚ FC's Alexis Stratigakis got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ignatios Papachronakis took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Makis Tselementes. Makis Tselementes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Ignatios Papachronakis scored 0-2 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Makis Tselementes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 43 minutes of play, GREEN LIONS's Gerasimos Vasilarakos made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Makis Tselementes was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Demis Laggizos to make the kick off. Makis Tselementes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Demis Laggizos, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thanos Chelis in the 60th minute of play forced GREEN LIONS's goalkeeper Vaggelis Pantelidis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Ignatios Papachronakis took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Makis Tselementes to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Demis Laggizos in the 65th minute of play forced ΠΑΟΚ FC's goalkeeper Makis Tselementes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aris Voutsas kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. GREEN LIONS's Filippos Kopelis shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 70th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Makis Tselementes but with some difficulty. Makis Tselementes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ignatios Papachronakis in the 72nd minute of play. Demis Laggizos had several of the ΠΑΟΚ FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 72 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-6 score and a disappointed Makis Tselementes as he didn't even see the shot coming. With a little luck, ΠΑΟΚ FC's Makis Tselementes got control of the ball when Filippos Kopelis tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, ΠΑΟΚ FC's Vassilis Banasidis got a free kick in the 78th minute. Filippos Kopelis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Makis Tselementes having to interfere. GREEN LIONS's Filippos Kopelis got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in GREEN LIONS's zone, Alexis Stratigakis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vaggelis Pantelidis came out of the goal and Alexis Stratigakis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Makis Tselementes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Demis Laggizos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match was over GREEN LIONS could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than ΠΑΟΚ FC throughout the match.
