The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some careless play in the SUPERSTAR - DMZ defense, Strahil Kirichkov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of José Maria Abraão. The SUPERSTAR - DMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that José Maria Abraão should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, SUPERSTAR - DMZ's José Maria Abraão got control of the ball when Miroslav Kyurkchiev tried to sneak it across the goal line. José Maria Abraão made an important save on a dangerous shot by Strahil Kirichkov in the 23rd minute. 25 minutes into the game, FC Bourgas's Yanislav Zhalov nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. José Maria Abraão made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. José Maria Abraão dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. In the 44th minute Pencho Nikolkov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Maria Abraão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. José Maria Abraão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lozan Baltov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mircho Andreev in the 47th minute of play forced SUPERSTAR - DMZ's goalkeeper José Maria Abraão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 7-0.

The wind increased when Edgar Guerra made the kick off in the second half. Tenyo Dudovski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edgar Guerra in the 51st minute. After 64 minutes of play, FC Bourgas's Strahil Kirichkov made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. José Maria Abraão was left in no man's land by his defense there! The SUPERSTAR - DMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that José Maria Abraão should have stopped the shot. SUPERSTAR - DMZ's José Maria Abraão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lozan Baltov in the 75th minute of play.
