Pinhote FC's Higino Pessoa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mattias Smefeldt in the 14th minute of play. Fredrik Bennet was out of position in the 15 minute of play, and Zezé Haaland capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Zezé Haaland really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. 18 minutes into the game, Jan-Åke Johansson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Samurai's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pinhote FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Samurai's Jan-Åke Johansson got a free kick in the 18th minute. When Leandro Reis came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Pinhote FC fans jumped to their feet. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Olov Bäckström during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Fredrik Bennet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zezé Haaland in the 40th minute of play. If Fabrício Quaresma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nuno Alves stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fabrício Quaresma scored 3-0 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fredrik Bennet, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 54 played minutes Pinhote FC got a freekick which was hit by Fabrício Quaresma. With a little luck, Pinhote FC's Higino Pessoa got control of the ball when Olov Bäckström tried to sneak it across the goal line. Michael Haglund hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. After 59 minutes of play, Pinhote FC's Américo Severo made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fredrik Bennet was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 62 minutes of play, Pinhote FC's Zezé Haaland made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Samurai's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. Fredrik Bennet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zezé Haaland in the 69th minute of play. A collision led to Pinhote FC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Hipólito Vilalobos hit a great ball. Higino Pessoa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mattias Smefeldt in the 71st minute of the match. After 73 played minutes Samurai got a freekick which was hit by Jan-Åke Johansson. After 78 played minutes Samurai got a freekick which was hit by Olov Bäckström. Fredrik Bennet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Américo Severo in the 80th minute of the match. Fredrik Bennet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabrício Quaresma, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 84th minute Zezé Haaland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fredrik Bennet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 86 minutes, the score became 7-0 when Américo Severo sped through Samurai's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fredrik Bennet. Fabrício Quaresma hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. With an all-out effort, Samurai's Higino Pessoa threw himself towards the right post 92 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mattias Smefeldt, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 92 minutes into the match, Mattias Smefeldt notched a goal, 7-1, to the right of Pinhote FC's Higino Pessoa. Higino Pessoa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Pinhote FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
