Springplank FC's Casper Ottens shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 39th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Feliberto Virila but with some difficulty. Feliberto Virila took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kevin Booy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Ferdi Reis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Springplank FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ferdi Reis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Feliberto Virila breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Springplank FC's Sunday Oliseh got his second yellow card of the match in the 94th minute. The referee ordered Sunday Oliseh off the ground. A collision led to Springplank FC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Sunday Oliseh hit a great ball. Jim Kamps was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Edgardo Cordarrel showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-2 in the 95 minute of play. Springplank FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Altos Gatos FC for a fine match.
