Joseph Reichardt came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Real Ducks Sport Club's Benedito Paraense. But to his dismay, Benedito Paraense quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 18 played minutes Möhnsen FC got a freekick which was hit by Knut Naumann. Möhnsen FC's Joseph Reichardt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hermínio de Amaral in the 22nd minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Hellmut Eilers had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. After 23 minutes, Hermínio de Amaral mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Real Ducks Sport Club and the Möhnsen FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roger Coelho during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 25 played minutes Real Ducks Sport Club got a freekick which was hit by Roger Coelho. Joseph Reichardt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benedito Paraense, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Möhnsen FC's Arndt Heil got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Dieter Popp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Real Ducks Sport Club booed when Möhnsen FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vincent Waibel didn't get a good kick on the ball.

57 minutes into the match, Möhnsen FC's goalkeeper Joseph Reichardt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benedito Paraense. Benedito Paraense could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Joseph Reichardt made a huge save. Dieter Popp blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adrianinho Carneiro having to make a save. Roger Coelho got his second yellow card in the match during the 66th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 66 played minutes Real Ducks Sport Club got a freekick which was hit by Roger Coelho. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Zézinho da Fonseca managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Ducks Sport Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Zézinho da Fonseca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joseph Reichardt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Möhnsen FC booed when Real Ducks Sport Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexsandro Vargas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joseph Reichardt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hermínio de Amaral, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Real Ducks Sport Club eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
