The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Le Stade Briochin UC's Reinaud Arnoets in the 2nd minute got a chance for a shot 2nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cha Fe FC's goalie prevented a goal. 11 minutes into the match, Cha Fe FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jocelyn Benito came free, but Patricio Pepillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 11 minutes of play, Le Stade Briochin UC's Jocelyn Benito made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Patricio Pepillo was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 15 minutes Cha Fe FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jocelyn Benito who took care of the corner kick. After 16 minutes, Joël Laget made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Cha Fe FC's Patricio Pepillo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Robin Peyraud in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Patricio Pepillo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Le Stade Briochin UC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jocelyn Benito in the 23rd minute. The corner led Le Stade Briochin UC's Jocelyn Benito to fire away a dangerous shot which Patricio Pepillo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bartolo Virila got free with Leonel Baumer in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rolando Chan hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Omar Cardot managed to get in a good position for a shot. Le Stade Briochin UC's supporters rose to their feet, but Omar Cardot was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Patricio Pepillo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Reinaud Arnoets had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reinaud Arnoets in the 31st minute of play forced Cha Fe FC's goalkeeper Patricio Pepillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Patricio Pepillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reinaud Arnoets in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 36th minute, Reinaud Arnoets made a precise shot to the right of Patricio Pepillo. Cha Fe FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Patricio Pepillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reinaud Arnoets in the 39th minute of play. The supporters of Le Stade Briochin UC booed when Cha Fe FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnoldo Calixto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arnoldo Calixto's late challenge caught a Le Stade Briochin UC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arnoldo Calixto helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Cha Fe FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 41st minute. Penalty! Reinaud Arnoets took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Patricio Pepillo. Patricio Pepillo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Reinaud Arnoets to strike the kick off in the second half. Ange Lochet kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Cha Fe FC's Patricio Pepillo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Cha Fe FC from getting a goal against them. In the 66thth minute of the game Santiago Mikelar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Le Stade Briochin UC's Leonel Baumer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Le Stade Briochin UC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Marc-Olivier Chopard hit a great ball. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Le Stade Briochin UC's goalkeeper Leonel Baumer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the Cha Fe FC defense, Reinaud Arnoets kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Patricio Pepillo. The Cha Fe FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Patricio Pepillo should have stopped the shot. Cha Fe FC's Patricio Pepillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaël Rats in the 73rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celso Fernanco in the 75th minute of play forced Le Stade Briochin UC's goalkeeper Leonel Baumer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gaël Rats hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. In the 84th minute, Le Stade Briochin UC's Ange Lochet dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-8. Ange Lochet's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 87thth minute, Patricio Pepillo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaël Rats in the 88th minute of play forced Cha Fe FC's goalkeeper Patricio Pepillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute, Reinaud Arnoets reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Patricio Pepillo. The goal made the score 0-9. Cha Fe FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 92nd minute, when Omar Cardot scored to the left of an out of position Patricio Pepillo, making the score, 0-10. In the 97th minute, Santiago Mikelar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cha Fe FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-10.
