Jochen Gijselinx fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodosio Macerio having to interfere. A collision led to Boulogne F.C. getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Eliseo Mattin hit a great ball. Leopoldo Paranaense kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leonardo Medardo in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bernard Fedosz prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

Ricardo Martini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 58 minutes into the match, Boulogne F.C.'s Leonardo Medardo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bernard Fedosz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Samuel Mercurio's late challenge caught a Beto Martini MZ 20 years's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
