Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. São Miguel do Oeste.SC were furious when Ramiro Carioca was red carded, 26 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 25th minute, one of São Miguel do Oeste.SC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for São Miguel do Oeste.SC. In the 28th minute there was a penalty for FC Ruh Lviv. Svyatoslav Krutyvus stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Mário Meireles. 2-0. The supporters of São Miguel do Oeste.SC booed when FC Ruh Lviv was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artem Zborovskyi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 34th minute Myroslav Akymenko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mário Meireles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 37 minutes of play, FC Ruh Lviv's Artur Lytvynchuk made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.
