Piquirenda FC's Bartolo Amato played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Skæringur Skaadegaard in the 2nd minute of play. Bartolo Amato came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Desfachatados F.C.'s Skæringur Skaadegaard. But to his dismay, Skæringur Skaadegaard quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 10 minutes, Fabio Acosta made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Piquirenda FC's Bartolo Amato tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Bartolo Amato showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Luzaide in the 13th minute of the match. Bartolo Amato took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Skæringur Skaadegaard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 16 minutes had been played when some careless play by Piquirenda FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bruno Berart was slow to take the kick. During this time Desfachatados F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Luzaide in the 25th minute of play forced Piquirenda FC's goalkeeper Bartolo Amato to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pablo Rufio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Modesto Bingen having to interfere. In the 29th minute, Fabio Acosta left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Desfachatados F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Bartolo Amato showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Skæringur Skaadegaard in the 33rd minute of the match. Modesto Bingen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnoldo Avellaneda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Modesto Bingen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnoldo Avellaneda, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 38th minute, Skæringur Skaadegaard left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Desfachatados F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Skæringur Skaadegaard was the one to do the kick off. With 59 minutes on the clock, Albino Gaitan commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Desfachatados F.C. fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 58th minute. Penalty! In the 60th minute there was a penalty for Piquirenda FC. Honorio Lain stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Modesto Bingen. 1-4. 68 minutes into the match, Desfachatados F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Pablo Rufio came free, but Modesto Bingen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aldo Isias charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aldo Isias the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 69 played minutes Piquirenda FC got a freekick which was hit by Aldo Isias. Arnoldo Avellaneda struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Modesto Bingen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Piquirenda FC. Bartolo Amato showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Luzaide in the 74th minute of the match. Fabio Acosta hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. 81 minutes into the game, Skæringur Skaadegaard recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bartolo Amato. Skæringur Skaadegaard showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pablo Rufio in the 94th minute of play forced Desfachatados F.C.'s goalkeeper Modesto Bingen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Romeo Elija kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Modesto Bingen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnoldo Avellaneda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Piquirenda FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Desfachatados F.C. were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
