With his leg Luan Trigo managed to avoid a goal in the 7thth minute, when LOI's Rickard Thidén fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 9th minute Babür Gürgen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luan Trigo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After taking down the ball on LOI's corner Hikmet Şafakgün fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Luan Trigo quite easily take care of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rickard Thidén in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luan Trigo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to S S Palestra Italia getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Renan Loyola hit a great ball. In the 19th match minute, S S Palestra Italia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abelardo Gerber to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Hikmet Şafakgün managed to get in a good position for a shot. LOI's supporters rose to their feet, but Hikmet Şafakgün was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luan Trigo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rômulo Trigo hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. In the 40th minute, LOI's Babür Gürgen dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. LOI made a substitution. Kaan Yağın replaced Babür Gürgen. In a very dangerous position, a player in LOI fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 44th minute. Penalty! When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell José Vítor Santos to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Rickard Thidén made a precise shot to the right of Luan Trigo. S S Palestra Italia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. When LOI's Rickard Thidén in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye S S Palestra Italia's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rickard Thidén in the 59th minute of play forced S S Palestra Italia's goalkeeper Luan Trigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rickard Thidén blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luan Trigo having to make a save. In the 62nd minute, Rickard Thidén left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The LOI fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Rômulo Trigo kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. S S Palestra Italia's Luan Trigo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rickard Thidén in the 69th minute of play. Elder Zanette made in the 75th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by LOI's Faruk Bucuklu. LOI's Hikmet Şafakgün got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Rickard Thidén's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luan Trigo was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Luan Trigo came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by LOI's Rickard Thidén. But to his dismay, Rickard Thidén quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Mustafa Barış Yarlık managed to get in a good position for a shot. LOI's supporters rose to their feet, but Mustafa Barış Yarlık was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luan Trigo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
