Spectators: 170 (Terracing: 128, Seating: 39, VIP seats: 3) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Charles-Henri Maron made the kick off which started today's match. Mathias Lecanu hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. 12 minutes into the game, Lyon 69ers's Tom Beaune nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Shane Brindley made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 16th minute Lyon 69ers were awarded a corner. Mathias Lecanu went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Jean-Charles Garros got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Shane Brindley quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 18 minutes into the match, Juventus Telford's goal looked a bit too open when Eraldo Fantini came free, but Shane Brindley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Shane Brindley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adam Paraszczuk, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Juventus Telford's Shane Brindley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mathias Lecanu in the 23rd minute of play. Daniel Crabtree was extremely unlucky when he, in the 26th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 27th minute Tom Beaune shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shane Brindley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juventus Telford's Shane Brindley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charles-Henri Maron in the 33rd minute of play. Tom Beaune took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Shane Brindley. Shane Brindley dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Shane Brindley came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Lyon 69ers's Eraldo Fantini. But to his dismay, Eraldo Fantini quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Will Sheridan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 47 minutes into the match, Juventus Telford's goal looked a bit too open when Charles-Henri Maron came free, but Shane Brindley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Lyon 69ers were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 50th minute, Eraldo Fantini got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Juventus Telford's Daniel Crabtree got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Shane Brindley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charles-Henri Maron in the 56th minute of play. In the 57th minute, Toby Claydon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bart Larivière was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tom Beaune in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Shane Brindley saved Juventus Telford from getting behind. Eraldo Fantini's late challenge caught a Juventus Telford's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eraldo Fantini helped the player get up and apologised. After 65 played minutes Lyon 69ers got a freekick which was hit by Eraldo Fantini. Shane Brindley made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Eraldo Fantini sent off a good shot on target. After 76 played minutes Juventus Telford got a freekick which was hit by Vince Nicoll. The corner led to Lyon 69ers's Charles-Henri Maron getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Eraldo Fantini recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Shane Brindley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charles-Henri Maron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bart Larivière took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Will Sheridan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eraldo Fantini got free with Shane Brindley in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lyon 69ers's Bart Larivière played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Toby Claydon in the 89th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eraldo Fantini got free with Shane Brindley in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Juventus Telford booed when Lyon 69ers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adam Paraszczuk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Toby Claydon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Bart Larivière tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Juventus Telford fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Lyon 69ers were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
