Sajones F.C.'s Ivan Prejun got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 6th minute, Fidel Chan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sajones F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The supporters of Sajones F.C. booed when Congo Bongo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lino Tonete didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 11th minute, Congo Bongo's Tiburcio Rudolfo seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Tiburcio Rudolfo the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Congo Bongo protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Tiburcio Rudolfo had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 12 played minutes Congo Bongo got a freekick which was hit by Tiburcio Rudolfo. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Jairo Cilio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sajones F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Jairo Cilio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Epifanio Ihazintu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Julio Quinten didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 17th minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. Epifanio Ihazintu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivan Prejun in the 28th minute of the match. When Victoriano Jerrold fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Congo Bongo's protests and gave Victoriano Jerrold a yellow card for diving instead. In the 33rd minute, Victoriano Jerrold hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Epifanio Ihazintu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fidel Chan in the 34th minute of the match. Jonatan Bortzaioriz in the 39thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Julio Quinten, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.

The referee ignored Congo Bongo's protests and gave Arsenio Maraman a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Congo Bongo getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Arsenio Maraman hit a great ball. Julio Quinten showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonatan Bortzaioriz in the 62nd minute of the match. Eliseo Cordarius charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eliseo Cordarius the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 64th match minute, Sajones F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseo Cordarius to maneuver through the defense. After 65 minutes of play, Congo Bongo's Jonatan Bortzaioriz made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Quinten was left in no man's land by his defense there! Victoriano Jerrold took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Quinten. Julio Quinten dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Arsenio Maraman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sajones F.C. made a substitution. Eleuterio Ezkerra replaced Eliseo Cordarius. 87 minutes into the match, Sajones F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Victoriano Jerrold came free, but Julio Quinten reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Evaristo Cordeara hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. A collision led to Sajones F.C. getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Eusebio Urtungo hit a great ball. Many of Sajones F.C.'s supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Sajones F.C. may have spent more time on the ball, but Congo Bongo were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
