Miguel Leerbels could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Benedicto Elodio made a huge save. In the 15th minute of the match, Lennart Weygaerts tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Benedicto Elodio saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Elohay Elohim אלוהי אלוה's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Joel Pietro was shown his second yellow card after 35 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Benedicto Elodio, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Miguel Leerbels scored 2-0 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benedicto Elodio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 41 minutes into the game, Ad Fundum's Miguel Leerbels nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benedicto Elodio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jorre Jespers made a kick off. 52 minutes had been played when some careless play by Elohay Elohim אלוהי אלוה's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Benedicto Elodio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lennart Weygaerts in the 55th minute of the match. Benedicto Elodio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Leerbels in the 58th minute of play. Benedicto Elodio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorre Jespers, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. But to his dismay, Miguel Leerbels quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Benedicto Elodio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Leerbels in the 75th minute of play. Benedicto Elodio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roben Turpin in the 76th minute of the match. Joop Van Impe took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benedicto Elodio. Benedicto Elodio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. In the 80th minute, Miguel Leerbels left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ad Fundum fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. Benedicto Elodio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Leerbels, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jorre Jespers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benedicto Elodio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Leerbels, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 96 minutes into the match, Elohay Elohim אלוהי אלוה's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Leerbels came free, but Benedicto Elodio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ad Fundum's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
