Seating: 39, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Amedeo Orioli took the kick off in the first half of the match. Carloforte f.c.'s Beppe Savoia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florentin Gougeon in the 4th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonny Logan in the 7th minute of play forced Carloforte f.c.'s goalkeeper Beppe Savoia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 9 minutes into the match, Florentin Gougeon notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Carloforte f.c.'s Beppe Savoia. Beppe Savoia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Florentin Gougeon struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Beppe Savoia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Valencia C.F.. Valencia C.F.'s Florentin Gougeon got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 20 minutes into the game, Valencia C.F.'s Florentin Gougeon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Beppe Savoia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 23rd minute Elia Ritacco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santiago Cañizares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, Carloforte f.c.'s goal looked a bit too open when Jonny Logan came free, but Beppe Savoia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Beppe Savoia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Florentin Gougeon went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Beppe Savoia came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Valencia C.F.'s Florentin Gougeon. But to his dismay, Florentin Gougeon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. The Valencia C.F. fans' excitement grew in the 38th match minute when Valencia C.F.'s Florentin Gougeon looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 47thth minute of the game Jonny Logan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Carloforte f.c.'s Beppe Savoia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After the first half Valencia C.F. were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The wind increased when Jonny Logan made the kick off in the second half. Beppe Savoia was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Florentin Gougeon showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-6 in the 50 minute of play. Florentin Gougeon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Beppe Savoia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Valencia C.F.'s Santiago Cañizares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elia Ritacco in the 55th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Tuncay Candeğer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Valencia C.F.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Tuncay Candeğer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Beppe Savoia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Florentin Gougeon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Beppe Savoia made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Florentin Gougeon sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Carloforte f.c.'s zone, Florentin Gougeon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Beppe Savoia came out of the goal and Florentin Gougeon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Beppe Savoia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Florentin Gougeon went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. 71 minutes into the match, Valencia C.F.'s Florentin Gougeon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Beppe Savoia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dave Pozzoli hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Beppe Savoia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florentin Gougeon in the 73rd minute of play. The corner ended in Al Capone almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Carloforte f.c.'s Beppe Savoia did a great save. Beppe Savoia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florentin Gougeon in the 76th minute of the match. Valencia C.F.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Al Capone in the 78th minute. Radoslaw Sroka tried in the game's 79th match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Beppe Savoia. An annoying self made goal, 0-8. After a rather tough play, Carloforte f.c.'s Cristoforo Melfi got a free kick in the 81st minute. In the 85th play minute Jonny Logan came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Beppe Savoia. 0-9. When Todd Kidd fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Valencia C.F.'s protests and gave Todd Kidd a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Valencia C.F.'s Todd Kidd got a free kick in the 90th minute. With a little luck, Carloforte f.c.'s Beppe Savoia got control of the ball when Jonny Logan tried to sneak it across the goal line. 96 minutes into the match, Florentin Gougeon dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Beppe Savoia, 0-10. The Carloforte f.c. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Valencia C.F. were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
