Ted Stroobos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ettore Biavati, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 14 minutes into the game, Ettore Biavati was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Weltevedren's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Albertus FC the free kick. Ted Stroobos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pippin Tuk, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 22nd minute, Ettore Biavati ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ted Stroobos was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Lucas Perri made an important save on a dangerous shot by Christijan van Asseldonk in the 26th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Albertus FC's Joeri Buys sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lucas Perri narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ted Stroobos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mustafa Hamit Kayrar in the 31st minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Jan Knops hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 41st minute of the match 崔皓常 sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ted Stroobos skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of Albertus FC booed when Weltevedren was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ettore Biavati didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joeri Buys stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Arnold Hemmen struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Lucas Perri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Albertus FC. In the 66th minute, Christijan van Asseldonk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 69 minutes into the match, Weltevedren's goal looked a bit too open when Joeri Buys came free, but Lucas Perri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 72 minutes into the game, Albertus FC's Christijan van Asseldonk nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lucas Perri made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3.
