INIXET BK's Kåre Blom proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save INIXET BK from getting a goal against them. Kåre Blom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damaso Sotil in the 15th minute of play. Efrain Veremundo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Birger Rosendal in the 22nd minute of the match. Natalio Gomez kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. In the 25th minute Alvin Broberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Efrain Veremundo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Axel Wall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

When Bo Blanck fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored INIXET BK's protests and gave Bo Blanck a yellow card for diving instead. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Las Palmas reached it. INIXET BK's Kåre Blom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damaso Sotil in the 67th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, Las Palmas's goal looked a bit too open when Alvin Broberg came free, but Efrain Veremundo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
