Spectators: 157 (Terracing: 118, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) CD Boiro's Walme Ortega played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan-Ove Gustavsson in the 5th minute of play. Edmundo de Toledo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sidney Pontes in the 7th minute of play. Dráusio Porto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Walme Ortega read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. After 12 minutes CD Boiro's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Celsinho Amorim who took care of the corner kick. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Jan-Ove Gustavsson put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Walme Ortega. In the 16th minute, Jan-Ove Gustavsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Buritama Sports fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. After a rather tough play, Buritama Sports's Dráusio Porto got a free kick in the 25th minute. In the 28th minute, Umberto Furlan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 31 minutes of play, Buritama Sports's Edgard Paraíba made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Walme Ortega was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edgard Paraíba in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Walme Ortega prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 36th minute Jan-Ove Gustavsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walme Ortega saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sidney Pontes got free with Edmundo de Toledo in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Buritama Sports's Edmundo de Toledo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Buritama Sports from getting a goal against them. Buritama Sports's Jan-Ove Gustavsson got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half Buritama Sports were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jan-Ove Gustavsson to strike the kick off in the second half. Sandrinho Massa came free with the goalkeeper in the 53rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Walme Ortega could save by the left post. After 53 minutes, Duarte Morientes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CD Boiro and the Buritama Sports players grew even worse after the yellow card. Duarte Morientes hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. In the 59th minute, Buritama Sports's Edgard Paraíba dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. Jan-Ove Gustavsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Walme Ortega made a huge save. If Jan-Ove Gustavsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 68th minute, Buritama Sports's Jan-Ove Gustavsson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. Sidney Pontes hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Walme Ortega showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgard Paraíba, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. When Dráusio Porto came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Buritama Sports fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dráusio Porto couldn't finish the play. CD Boiro's Walme Ortega proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save CD Boiro from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Buritama Sports's Celsinho Amorim got a free kick in the 81st minute. Edmundo de Toledo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sidney Pontes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th minute Sidney Pontes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmundo de Toledo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Buritama Sports booed when CD Boiro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elixio Lacorte didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Buritama Sports's Frederico Godoi got a free kick in the 90th minute. Umberto Furlan hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Buritama Sports played a much better game than CD Boiro and deserved their victory. The CD Boiro players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
