Spectators: 169 (Terracing: 127, Seating: 39, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Levente Makkai started the match with the kick off. Siniša Mihajlović in the 3rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Toni Vera, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The crowd rose to their feet as Levente Makkai kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Toni Vera. That made the score 1-0 in the 6 minute of play. 13 minutes into the game, Miklós Bogdán was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Szajk LC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Girona FC the free kick. Özdemir Babayiğit showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vicente Mendez in the 23rd minute of the match. 25 minutes into the game, Leizarraga Campomanes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Girona FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Szajk LC the free kick. Leizarraga Campomanes kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Szajk LC's Özdemir Babayiğit played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tonio Millán in the 30th minute of play. Özdemir Babayiğit took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vicente Mendez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Girona FC's Toni Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Levente Makkai in the 39th minute of play. After 40 minutes of play Girona FC's Leizarraga Campomanes was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Leizarraga Campomanes hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kelemen Castro to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Levente Makkai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Toni Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Levente Makkai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Toni Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 57th minute, Miklós Bogdán ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Toni Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Reynaldo Gimenez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 61 minutes into the match, Levente Makkai notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Girona FC's Toni Vera. Toni Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Miklós Bogdán scored 4-0 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Toni Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Szajk LC made a substitution. Isidro Lángara replaced Miklós Bogdán. Toni Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Levente Makkai in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 74th minute Levente Makkai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Toni Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Toni Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Levente Makkai in the 76th minute of play. In the 76th minute, Oriol Azofra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 80 minutes of play, Szajk LC's Siniša Mihajlović made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Toni Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! Toni Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Levente Makkai in the 83rd minute of play. In the 86th minute Isidro Lángara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Toni Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 89 minutes into the match, Girona FC's goal looked a bit too open when Isidro Lángara came free, but Toni Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reynaldo Gimenez in the 94th minute of play forced Szajk LC's goalkeeper Özdemir Babayiğit to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th minute Isidro Lángara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Toni Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Szajk LC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
