With a little luck, Š¢σяpiσиŠ's Yuri Alcântara got control of the ball when Dinei Sergipano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cachaça FC's Josué de Carvalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dráusio Vinhas in the 5th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Egídio de Castro in the 9th minute of play forced Š¢σяpiσиŠ's goalkeeper Yuri Alcântara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Teodoro Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Josué de Carvalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giovani Simão in the 14th minute of play. In the 17th minute Kaká Severo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Josué de Carvalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Josué de Carvalho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clemente Cruz, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 23rd minute of the match Š¢σяpiσиŠ got a corner. Cachaça FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Benedito Vasconcelos ran over to the corner to take the kick. Egídio de Castro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Š¢σяpiσиŠ's zone, Dinei Sergipano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yuri Alcântara came out of the goal and Dinei Sergipano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cachaça FC's Dinei Sergipano got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 33 minutes of play, Cachaça FC's Egídio de Castro made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Yuri Alcântara was left in no man's land by his defense there! 38 minutes into the game, Kaká Severo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Š¢σяpiσиŠ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cachaça FC the free kick. Dinei Sergipano took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Yuri Alcântara. Yuri Alcântara dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Giovani Simão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yuri Alcântara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Perivaldo Castro in the 46th minute of the match. Kaká Severo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Dinei Sergipano made the kick off in the second half. Yuri Alcântara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dinei Sergipano in the 57th minute of the match. In the 64th minute of the match Didi Dionísio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Yuri Alcântara showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Giovani Simão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yuri Alcântara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Fernando Vaz, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. The supporters of Š¢σяpiσиŠ booed when Cachaça FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Didi Dionísio didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Caio Barral fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cachaça FC's protests and gave Caio Barral a yellow card for diving instead. In the 80th match minute, Cachaça FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Caio Barral to maneuver through the defense. 83 minutes into the match, Š¢σяpiσиŠ's Giovani Simão sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Josué de Carvalho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 86th minute, Perivaldo Castro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yuri Alcântara was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Perivaldo Castro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yuri Alcântara having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dinei Sergipano in the 95th minute of play forced Š¢σяpiσиŠ's goalkeeper Yuri Alcântara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Š¢σяpiσиŠ players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Cachaça FC.
